It’s rather chaotic at home now. With Mr. D’s recent surgery (4 stitches on the head and metal rods embedded on his bones), my postpartum recovery, taking care of a newborn and a 4 year old still adjusting to the fact that she has to share the spotlight now with someone else. Be that as it may, we couldn’t be more grateful. I know I’ve been saying that word very often… blog post after blog post. But really, nothing can encapsulate my feeling more than that one word—grateful.
And although we’re skipping gift-giving to most of our family and friends (no time to slip out for last minute shopping) and were missing out on a lot of merry-making and holiday festivities (which I admit, I do miss!) this Christmas will be a simple but meaningful occasion for the Diegos and well, I don’t think we’ll have it any other way. 😊
So again to all of you, whether you’re celebrating Christmas with a bang or celebrating small and quietly, here’s wishing you have a meaningful and blessed Christmas! Don’t forget the reason for the season. 😊 May God bless you and your families abundantly always! 🎄 Cheers!
